Elaine Turcotte, DVM
Born and raised in Quebec City, Canada, Dr. Turcotte graduated from the University of Montreal, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Directly following her graduation Dr. Turcotte completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Illinois. From 1998 to 2000 she completed a surgical internship at the Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey where she gained extensive experience in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Turcotte joined the Sugar Grove Animal Hospital team in 2013 where she continues her interest in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Turcotte is married to Dr. Lancaster and they live locally with their two daughters, two dogs (Polly and Ferd) and a cat named Finn.
In her free time Dr. Turcotte enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as her pursuing her love of physical activity including running, boating, hiking and exercise classes.
