Surgical Services
Our experienced doctors perform surgical procedures almost every day. We are well equipped to manage the vast majority of surgical requirements presented to us. These primarily soft tissue surgeries include everything from spay/neuter and cancer surgery to injury repair and exploratory surgery.
In addition to soft tissue surgery, Dr. Turcotte has 15 years of experience as a bone or orthopedic surgeon. The most common orthopedic surgery is CCL (ACL in humans) or cranial cruciate ligament surgery which stabilizes the knee.
When the CCL tears, the joint becomes unstable, painful and arthritic. We offer two types of surgery to repair a CCL tear:- Lateral Fabellar Suture Technique and Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA). The surgery recommended will take into account the size, age and activity levels of the patient and will follow an extensive assessment by Dr. Turcotte.
